Fabia vRS, 55 plate, 13k miles, 1.9td engine, which is chipped.

Goes well, and gives me 50mpg.

It's no ST, but it's not bad!!

Imaes are re-sized so they are uber small. Hopefully will be at the RR with it :)

Enjoy.

you can stick the bread up yer arse! ;)

BHP is 130 (same engine as countless other cars including seat, audi, vw cars) with the chip it should see 160 at least quite easily.

We'll see when I get on the rolling road.

No interior shots yet, but I can do some Raymond if you really want?

Why the change from the ST?

Need to change sig, cheers for reminding me.

The ST's running costs were wearing me down into the ground ,very very expensive not just to buy but to run as well. This will do 50-60 mpg on most runs, cheap to insure, buy and run.

Me and the girlfriend are saving for holiday / house in the future, so need the extra money saved really.

If things don't work out, I'll trade it in and get an s2000, but hopefully they will! :)

Nutella?

So with a remap what does that take the performance to?

0-60 is by the guide 9.6 seconds or there abouts, which is very conservative.

My 0-60 is in the region of around 8 seconds,

By no means a hot hatch, but definately warm. Decent handling, can throw it around and have some fun. But essentially cheap fun motorin, even if it's a step down.

Had the ST for 14 months (Was the first on here, and 2nd/3rd in midlands/ Telford to own the ST) and loved every minute of it :)

Yes please, I am looking for my first car so Interior shots are a big plus. Does it have Air-con, Cd player, electric windows, immobilizer and central locking ?

Give me a couple of mins mate, I'm dying for the toilet, and need some new batteries for my camera!

Yes to all the above, comes with all of those as standard.

Sorry Raymond didn't see your post.

Took some of the interior and none of the boot / leg room. But it's pretty good. I live out of my boot at times, and easily fit my cooler master stacker in laying down + laptop and clothes.

Pictures being uploaded now.

Slightly off topic Raymond, bought a Fuji s5600 camera, what's your reccomendations on AA Rechargables + chargers mate?

UniRoss Sprint 90 Min Battery Charger inc 4 x AA 2500 mAh Rechargeable Batteries :

Would be spot on no? :)

Also standard on the Fabia vRS is:

Central locking, air conditioning (with glove compartment cooling too), ABS, CD player, power steering, immobiliser, alarm, 16" alloys, 6 speed gear box, vRS seats (upgradeable to leather, and heated leather)

http://www.skoda.co.uk/skoda3g/content/showroom/fabia/specifications_equipment.aspx - standard stuff is there.

Any more questions then fire away :)

Don't like it at all, but what does that matter if you're happy?:)

Those 6 buttons above the stereo, only 2 in use? looks odd:p are they reserved for top spec models or is it just the same dash from another car?

Reserved for optional extra's.

Decent enough car, am happy with it, been driving it for a month and it'll do till I get a higher paying job. Will keep it for a few years I think now :)

Used to have one of these, was good fun. Did 4000 miles around europe in 10 days with it, cracking little car. The brakes didnt like the stevlio pass though :D

Are you going to chip it? I have an unused AMD one click unit here that I didnt get round to installing on mine!

Already chipped dude :)

Yep, the Uniross batteries should be fine, the 2500 is still probably somewhat optimistic, but imho, they are good value for the money. Uniross have been selling batteries and chargers for over 20 years, and their products are generally long lasting, with a sturdy contruction.

Sure they may be better batteries, and there may be cheaper batteries.... But Uniross are a pretty decent 'down to earth' brand.

I use Uniross 'AA's in my rechargeable mouse as well, and they are still going strong after two years of hard use.

PS. Grats on the new car... Cars are such personally things, everyone wanting something different out of them. Enjoy your car, and give it lots of love and polish, and im sure it will look after you too :)

Thank you, I appreciate that :)

Looks nice, possibly lower it a little and it would look sweet?

Ill have a ganders at the RR. :)

No plans to lower it or any thing yet. The main reason for changing it was to save money! So missus would go spare if I started throwing money at the car :D

Thanks Drexel. No doubt you'll be thrown the keys at the RR if I'm able to go :)
