Picture of Menu not clear if zoomed in on Mobile

Hi guys
I've just updated one of my websites with a new Food Menu Jpeg, And when you zoom in on a mobile device its not clear...
I've done this 5-6 times in the last few years and not had this issue. So I've obviously done something wrong this time.
What file type should I ideally be using.. Tried a tiff but at 35mb seems a bit much
PNG is much Darker

My thoughts - I would use a jpg, and check that I haven't over optimised it. Also, perhaps viewport comes into it.

It's serving up a smaller image (in my case https://lirp.cdn-website.com/a8588e65/dms3rep/multi/opt/Live-Pavilion-Menu-Front-NOV-2022-432w.jpg) when viewing under a mobile environment, which is why it looks naff when zooming it.
Whatever is handling the responsive images needs disabling.

Alternatively, link (image perhaps) to a PDF of the menu as a "backup" solution.

I've set it so if you click it it downloads the hi res image.
That seems to work for now
