These pics are bout a week old, i took them last saturday. I only got them up tonight because i've been having problems with imageshack...

N.B: These were all shot with a Canon EOS 350D, a Canon 75-300mm Mk II and the 18-55mm kit lens...

#6 is the best photo by far.

The girl in 1 and 2 is hot by the looks of things, hope u showed her your camera and took her number and asked for her to be a model :p
 
1, 2 and 5 are all the same to me. there's no real main focus to the photo and it doesn't seem like much thought has gone into the shot.

However i'm loving 6. Could do with a bit of tweaking to bring out the colours of the punts.
 
Looks like you had good weather for it. There's a great fudge shop along there, usually have demonstrations and free samples. I always eat so much and end up feeling ill :)

I'll dig out some of my cambridge pics sometime.

I agree that they're almost the same, in 1 and 2 the main focus was supposed to be the asian girl taking the photos and in 5 the focus was the asian guy who had just turned round and was looking at me, i did take some time to wait for the right amount / position of people however.

Number is 3 is a nice photo, maybe get it entered in Religion competition for this month maybe?

As for the rest of them, I feel they lack punch or anything that makes them a special photo. The punts are reasonable but does the photo have a purpose? The photo's in the street really don't say anything at all except for pointing the camera down the street and hitting the fire button.

Not to be overly critical, maybe if the girl in 1 and 2 and the canoe guy was facing towards the camera then they'd be improved :)
