sooooooooooo good with lashings of vinegar :P

anyone else here a fan of it? and how many of you have never heard of it or tried it?

*waits for people asking what liquor is as well* lol

:)

Now, I'm a Yorkshirewoman and have never had pie, mash and liquor. I've heard of it and seen it, obviously, but it has always intrigued me what the liquor is made of - is it very herby?

Here in Yorkshire we have pie, mash and gravy!

liqour is just parsley sauce, its not herby at all but has to be eaten with lashings and lashings of vinegar :)

i only have pie mash n liqour from pie and mash shop as no pie is the same then the ones you get from pie n mash shop.

The pastry is differant from normal pies, it's a very light water pastry and the filling is always minced lamb. Doesn't have a thick gravy inside either like you get with normal pies.

Seriously if you ever get the chance to try it, make sure you do it's something thy shouldn't be knocked till its been tried.

As for the parsley sauce not being herby :p it's not its not over powering in flavour is what I mean.

What pie and mash shop do you use? I visit the one on Chris street in poplar!! proper east end!

always double pie and mash though unless your some kinda pansy. Even my girl mates do the double! they are slags though.

Dude

I don't eat big portions of food, I can eat a whole pie but only a couple mouthfuls of the single mash and then I'm stuffed.

Not a pansy I'm just not greedy :p
