Hi Guys/Gals.

I'm currently running this:

Gigabyte MA-790XT UD4P (F7 BIOS. Only just put that on though, was F4)
AMD Phenom II X3 720 BE < TRUE rev.c + 120mm Fan in an upwards config, blowing through the heatsink. Current Idle temp <30, load temp ~40
GTX260 + 8800GT(PhysX)
500GB Caviar Black
640GB Caviar Blue
650W OCZ PSU
4GB Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz

Just gving a full spec for those completists out there.

I want to get my HT and CPU-NB running at 2.6 like everyone else seems to be able to get. My current settings are thus:

HT Ref: 206
Multiplier 17
CPU Clock Speed: 3502
HT Multiplier: 11 (speed 2266)
CPU-NB Multiplier: 11 (speed 2266)
RAM multiplier 6.66. (Speed 1372Mhz)

I was wondering whether i should try overclocking mostly with the HT ref. Anyone tried this kind of setup with an HT Ref at 250? I could get it back up to 3.5Ghz with a lower multiplier (I've tried putting my multiplier up to 17.5, and it doesn't last 5 seconds on prime).

Current Voltages:
CPU: 1.475
CPU-NB VID: 1.325
NB: +0.2v (I'm not sure what stock is) < will update this if i find out
SB: +0.1v (again, not sure what stock is) <Will update this if i find out
RAM: 1.7v (rated to 1.65)

Do you guys think i should try just upping multipliers again now that i have the latest bios? or is there something else I'm missing? First thing I plan on doing tonight is having a look at taking off the current NB heatsink, and replacing the terrible thermal gloop with some decent stuff. (Silver 5 if i can find it, thermalright Chill Factor if i can't).

Any and all suggestions welcome. Especially those from the same setup as me.
