Googling suggests they walked away pretty much unscathed apart from a few knocks, incredible.

I like these run off areas, it bought the car to a stop safely and nobody was seriously hurt.

They should implement this in F1.

That Dallenbach crash is brutal. He's incredibly lucky he didn't end up shish kebab'd on a tree. At that speed they'd just go right through you.
