pimp my room

Everyone says the Ikea Markus is a great chair.

I don't, I think they're rubbish.

I bought one thinking it was comfy after sitting in it for a couple of minutes, but in the end I hated the damn thing. The badly placed lumbar support makes me ffffffuuuuuuuu.

It's fine for some people, but not everyone.

:Edit: Also, when people come in here and recommend Ikea for a desk don't just instantly jump at it like a lot of people do. You can get really good deals by going to office clearance warehouses etc.

Herman Miller Aeron - nothing comes close tbh.

As for a desk something a bit cheaper would be grabbing say the numerar from Ikea and attaching their vika curry legs onto it.

They even do a cheaper worktop which has the holes pre-drilled so it's a piece of pee to screw in the provided screws ;)

Everyone says the Ikea Markus is a great chair.

Have one and its been perfect for me over the past year and a bit,

Best chair I have tried in a long time due to being 6ft 6 it's more suited to tall people I think.

Awful thing, destined for the skip!

Get an ergonomic chair that is GUARANTEED by the manufacturer, that means it's tested for a good level of use and won't give you any aches or pains.

I've used one of these for years back when they cost a bit more http://www.officefurnitureonline.co.uk/shop/ergo-tek-mesh-manager-chair.html - I never have any issues even after using it all day long (work from home).

I went for the Kashmir (easily the comfiest chair I've sat on in ages) and a glass desk.

Glass desk appears to be broken already :P
