Pimp Your Bimmer thread

They were introduced in October 2000 when the E39 was facelifted. The 523i was replaced with a 525i at this time so you'll not find any facelift 523i's.

What Stereo is that?
 
i though the 6 cylinder E46s came with chrome slats in the kidney grille
unless you removed them :p (or its a sport model or something)

Yeah I know mine are 'wrong'. I think it may have been an option at the factory - to make it look poverty spec lol. The bonnet has been resprayed so its possible the grille has been changed at some point.

I actually quite like the black plastic :p

Aahh, I should have updated that plan! LOL

I did have the D310R but I replaced it with the D900R as the picture quality was better and I didnt like the touchscreen on the D310 (im a picky git) lol
