Pimples on the tongue!!

Does anyone know of any House hold remedys to get rid of the bloody things? :p

Or any products that get rid of them? I know you can get clearisal for skin but is there any for the tongue? :p

Painful things they are :(
 
gnaw them off and drink the blood like a vampire bat, or lick the one you love and make her scream!

Pimples on the tongue.... :confused: I never heard that before, Have you been giving head? Possible infection but i aint a doctor.

I did at first but realised that Zip is indeed Australian. Probably some crazy things the kids down under do.

i didnt have pimples, i bit my tounge and wanted to see if ice would take the pain away, when i decided to take the ice cube off my tougne and realised it wasnt for coming i paniced and made the mistake of pulling it off quickly, it bled for yonks afterwards

I Havnt been giving head :p


If i took pictures they would just look like Swallen Taste buds basicly With a real red colour(If ive tryed to remove them some how :o ) Or a white or light pink colour
 
Get a match and burn the top of the pimple, it will kill it off and will heal within a few days. You won't feel any pain as the pimple will have numbed that part of your tongue.

You might have a funny taste in your mouth for a while though.

In all seriousness though if you go to your local chemist and ask for an antiseptic tongue exfoliator that will do the job. They'll know what you're talking about. It's a solution that exfoliates your tongue and in the process should kill off the pimple. You might need some tongue moisturiser to get it back to tip top condition again.
 
See they do exist and i know what they really are now :D

Q: I’ve just suffered through another bout with a tongue pimple. At least, that’s what it looks – and feels--like. The bumps are super-painful for few days, then they disappear. What’s causing this and what can I do about it?




Dr. Donnica: A “tongue pimple” is a great way to describe it, but it is probably an inflamed papilla, or taste bud. Eating too many tomatoes, citrus, or other acidic foods; pokes from a food that has a sharp edge like a chip or pretzel; or a tiny puncture from broken dental work can trigger the micro-irritation that leads to a swollen bump. Within about five days, it will go away on its own, but until it does, resist the urge to check on it to see if it’s still there by rubbing your tongue against your teeth. To sooth the soreness, try rinsing with warm salt-water 2-3 times a day or dab the bump with a milk of magnesia-soaked cotton swab to create an acid-neutralizing barrier. While the bump is healing, stick with a soft diet and steer clear of anything potentially irritating, like acidic, hot or spicy foods. If your tender taste bud doesn’t shrink back to normal within ten days, see your doctor or dentist.

Dear god i hate gargling salty water :(
 
If you're into natural remedies, try rubbing some Platypus Smegma into it. That should do the job and it's bound to taste better than fire.
