pinacle usb tv and .net 2.0

I am currently trying to install a pinacle usb dual antenna tv receiver and have installed all the software. However when I try to run it, it tells me that I need .NET 2.0 installed. The program .exe also fails.

I struggled to find a .net 2.0 download for vista x64 on microsoft online and when I did try one not for x64 it said that it was already installed. Although when I checked Microsoft enable and disable features I only have .Net 3.0 which as far as my flatmate has told me is nto backward compatible.

Can anyone help me?

I thought .NET 2.0 was supposed to come preinstalled on Vista?

Looks like this is a problem with the actual software. Vista does have the 2.0 installed. I installed some 64 bit drivers and got the remote working. It is simply the software for the TV viewing program which does not work still and says PMCloader.exe failing to respond.

This TV on PC thing really seems a lot more hassle than it is worth to me. Although it is something I really would like to fix as I have spent £60 on it and don't have room for a TV in my room.
