Major coup for Zen, they have acquired the WMS (Williams/Bally pinball) license that Farsight (makers of The Pinball Arcade) lost earlier this year. 4 tables in public beta already, with further 4 expected by the end of 2018, and more to follow in 2019.

Big surprise as they had just announced 3 more Star Wars tables for 12th September.

This is great new for a potentially down the line VR implementation of the bally Williams classics.

The Pinball Arcade had no interests in VR, but Zen very much do. Up until yesterday the whole notion was dead in the water. The 12 tables Zen have done in VR are amazing work, they just need more of an audience so they can sensible price them to pick up the non enthusiastic that won't pay the higher VR prices.

VR pinball is the absolute snizzle, it's practically playing the real thing. 700 hours in VR pinball, I just love it.

I don't think Zen would have much interest in the old em machines, id love to see those done in Zaccarria Pinball's unity engine, even in VR those old tables look photo realistic and are a joy to play.
