I can browse the internet yet not ping any websites or my own router (which other computers can). Have no idea where to go on this one, any ideas?

When I connect it via cable it says - blocked, contact your administrator Seems to be the computer doing the blocking not the router.... Any ideas? Seems to be something denying all but port 80 but can't for the life of me find what's doing it!
