pinging my website

hi

I've bought a networking book to try and learn about the subject, very interesting so far

anyway, when i ping my website from a command prompt

ping www.blueguitar.info

it gives me the IP address of 195.62.28.19

typing this into the address bar goes to a different website, whys that?

This will be down to host header values (e.g. www.name.com). I assume your site is hosted for you by a hosting company?

It allows you to serve multiple sites from one IP address whilst only using port 80.
