Which would you recommend?
Seems a found a appropriate thread here :p

Do you know what generation of PinkFloyd he/she likes more. The older stuff or the newer stuff?

'PULSE' is a good DVD, but I recently got 'Live in Pompei', which is just awesome. Very good album if your freind likes the older more instrumental and experimental stuff.

dmpoole - thanks for plugging the 'new' release...hey, recycling is cool right?

I could blow my own trumpet and tell you that one of the first concerts I went to was Black Sabbath in 72 so I would have heard that set but I never brag.

If by 'recycling' you mean 'off topic' - yeah, these forums do it all the time.

Live at Pompeii is excellent - see the bit where Nick Mason loses his drum stick?

Pulse is good if you want to see the live show, but on the whole I prefer The Wall. :)

Yeh Pompei was just drawdroppingly awesome. Looking at Mason back then, and what he is like in PULSE, its such a huge contrast in styles.
Did they release the live Wall concert (Is there anybody out there) on DVD ever? If so I have to get that. On cd its awesome.
