Just wondering if Pink Floyd ever released a DVD of the Division Bell tour?

Really love TDB as an album and it'd be great to see Gilmour et al. playing it live :)

There are bootlegs but no official release.
I've just transferred an official SVCD of The Delicate Sound Of Thunder tour to DVD.

The Pulse DVD is finally due for release this year (already out in the US for years...) but release date keeps slipping. Check the usual web stores for details.

This is a recording from The Division Bell tour at Earls Court and I think is the same set featured on the Pulse live CD and was broadcast on the BBC at the time and I think was released on VHS. Features several TDB tracks including High Hopes and also a complete performance of The Dark Side of the Moon.

Band features Gilmour, Mason, Wright and Dick Parry with the rest of the band being session guys.

Hope this helps - I think latest release date is October sometime?

Has anyone got this yet and what's the video quality like, since it's converted from video (I think), I've heard it's pretty ropey.

This is a two disc set with some decent extras. Video and audio quality both excellent.Certainly not a VHS transfer... Includes 5.1 Surround Mix. Note that this is presented in the 4:3 ratio (i.e. not widescreen) as originally filmed.

Should get mine tomorrow too . . . ordered it and got sent confirmation yesterday. Can't wait :D

Going off to watch my other music concert DVD I got yesterday - Transatlantic Live in Europe :)

Ah yeah, I'll get the Spock's Beard DVD next.

The Transatlantic DVD had the usual Morse too - amazing keyboard/vocals, bit of acoustic guitar, couple of electric guitar solos (with Roine Stolt too - legend) and then Morse went over and played drums with Portnoy for a bit too :D

Just watching PULSE a bit before work - the Bootlegging the Bootleggers section. Loving the guitar solo in Poles Apart :D

Er... pretty sure that this was a video transfer. David Gilmour has expressed his regret at not filming the concert.

Video quality is not too bad, but certainly not mind blowingly clear. Sound is very good so far, but I haven't watched it on a decent system yet.

Either way, I am glad to finally have it... nice and cheap too at around £17... been waiting for this one for years.

I've now ordered it, so I should get it next week, then it's time to shut the curtains and whack up the 5.1. :)

Nope, should be here any day, but as it was so cheap, I'll not complain. ;)

I'll probably not watch it until the weekend anyway.

Let me know if you notice an audio difference between part one and part two. On mine it seems like the vocals were mixed back.
