Has anyone been watching this on men and motors? for those who havent two guys meet at a proper drag strip and do a best of 3 and the winner takes the losers car.

I cant believe how stupid some of the people are in it tbh, one guy snapped his rear axle in the first race and started to mouth off and carried on racing, he obviously lost and started to cry as his pride and joy was trailered off into the distance lol

Another guy had a modified Harley V-rod worth over $18,000 and he went up against a $4,000 street bike which was way faster. Whats the point in risking an $18,000 cruiser by racing it against a full on sports bike thats worth nowhere near as much as the HD? he lost and the poor guy road off on the Harley :D

Its deffo genuine, but they do hype it up with the meetings between races etc, thats just to make good tv more than anything.

ive known and seen people race for pinks. it happens

in fact, a few years back a couple well known members of the evo forum talked about it on the open forum (iirc whether a scoob could touch 161mph and a guy with an evo didnt beleive he could and then challenged him to a race for pinks) i dont think it went ahead.

some characters on there i tell ya
 
i watched this or somethign similar but it was 2 car garages o something that perpously built the cars for the strip and that race imperticular, was a while ago and i dident think it was that interesting tbh, lol - not a fan of the telly:P the best its are just repeated on forums haha.
 
Yea I saw this, corny as hell but the cars were good. They probably do lose the car but get such a large appearance fee its all good
