Pioneer receiver help

Hello

I have a Pioneer AV receiver VSX 324 when I try to power it on it makes a clicking noise and does nothing else

I am hoping it's not a permanent fault

Can anybody shed any light

Is the power light flashing ? Have you tried unplugging it for a while? There is a way to reset pioneer AV recievers it may have gone into protection mode.

You can try the reset method in the video below it should work for your model.

Nothing on the receiver happens other than the click. When I seen the video you gave me hope but no, after a couple seconds when it tries to power on it just clicks

Oh dear then it must be power failure of some kind. is it still in warranty?

its probably not worth the cost of repairing either so it looks like your in the market for a new AV receiver.

Correct it's a £200 AVR, it may cost £100 to fix, and can't be sure something else will die after that. Just buy a new AVR
