Picking one up for free....Just wondering if this would be ok to hook upto a PC?......I'll be looking to buy some decent monitor speakers as well to go with it

Don't see why not, use HDMI-HDMI or DVI-HDMI cables route it though as a hub. I'm using a Yamaha AVR with PC works ok
