Pipe Dream animation music

thats always been my favourite of the ati tech demos, It goes way back to about 2002. Its odd how it works on any hardware when tis made for ati.

There are a couple of DVDs available from animusic.com, I've seen the first and it's uttely stunning both visually and musically. If you look on the site there are some sample clips available to download, not sure how long they are though.

It worked for me too. I can't imagine what that would be like if they remade it for the modern cards.
to me it just makes me think how good the 9700/9800 cards were

this looks good to me, a well seasoned PC gamer which loves eye candy. the only true next-gen cards ever made imho

Yep, we've yet to have another leap forward on a par with the performance the 9700 Pro offered over the previous champ, the GF4.

The Animusic stuff is seriously old, I have one of the DVDs here and it's very impressive stuff. You have to remember that when they did the originals it took huge amounts of processing power and time to render these sequences. When the 9700 card appeared with that demo it was an awesome demonstration of how far we've come that a consumer graphics card could render it in real time.
