Ok, so im planing this new build, and im now working out the water cooling side, would 3/8 or 10mm (same size i belive be ok) planning 2 loops i think,

1 for the HD4870x2
1 for cpu/mb.

as a different idea, could i do this,,

pump, cpu , mb, 2 fan rad, gpu, gpu 3 fan rad, as one loop ??

would like to use 3/8 pipe, tbh..

comments ??

Tube size really isn't all that important; use whatever floats your boat. I've used 3/8, 7/16 and 1/2 and I like the 7/16 best. Use it with 1/2 barbs and it fits snug withut clips yet routes easily in nice tight turns without kinking.

As for your single loop with two rads, you'll need a good pump with excellent uninterrupted water feed to it. Something like an 18W DDC1 with the XSPC res-top Linky.

My idea for was to use similar pump DCC with res, but also have a header tank, (ex plumber) and have that keep the system topped up. (t pipe idea) just with extra fluid.

surely a d5 or similar would be better as its a more powerfull pump?

ive got a d4 running 2 rads on my cpu loop
