About time too but could it be a case of too little too late with sky's new offer on?, these are the broadband prices with no phone calls rubbish.

£24.99 - Max - Uncapped.
£19.99 - Max - 15GB
£14.99 - Max - 2GB

Any word on what people paying through the roof for legacy packages (Solo1000) are going to be able to do? Bit ticked off that I'm paying £23.99/month for unlimited (FUP, etc.) 1Mbps when new customers are getting unlimited 8Mbps for £24.99/month... :(

Im in the same boat and pretty sure we have to regrade and end up in another 12 month contract plus pay for newsgroups and lose some emails if they're unused, no care for long time customers or loyalty it seems. :(

Still maybe we can hope for a free regrade without loosing anything at some point? :p

Give Pipex a ring they are offering a regrade for some existing customers. I phoned up and was offered an upgrade free of charge to the Pipex Go 8mb package

I read P2P is throttled 24/7 to something really poor like 20KBs, theres an unknown gigabyte limit that seems to be anything and different for different people and when its passed the whole connection gets throttled, this happened a while back so i don't know if they still enforced it as much, there may be more but thats all i know.

Are those prices only for new people who sign up for them? Or does my current uncapped monthly bill come down?

It sucks ass. Totally. When I signed up with them I was told that the fair use policy only kicks in at peak times.

Call them up to make sure they do it for you. I just did and am now on 24.99.

They tend to leave you on your current package unless you ask to regrade and if you do you will be on a new 12 month contract and lose some unused emails and free newsgroups as well.
