Well, there was an uplift program a while back whereby all customers on a number of ISPs were lifted up to 2Mbps at the exchange, then limits put in place on the ISP end. The thinking being that the ISPs would then be able to upgrade/downgrade customers themselves without having to go through BT.Pho said:Have pipex rebranded their products? What's all this start/go/max stuff. Apparently all products show as 2mb?
Looking at the PIPEX Residential homepage, there don't appear to be any of the catches they had previously. There's a £1 charge if you pay by credit card, but there's no mention of any introductory offers. Seems to me like they've finally gotten in line with the competition and plan on offering uncapped 2048/256Kbps for £23.99/monthCozman said:Hi
i think you will find if you look closely most the offers are for limited time ... first 3 months or so then price goes to normal level ...
