At present Pirates@Home is not doing any real scientific computation, we are just having 'fun' with BOINC."

Hargh!

If the only thing they can find to beat us in is the equivalent of racing rubber ducks around the bathtub boincwise then they should hand their heads in shame and throw their cuttlasses to the 4 winds whilst singing a dirge while there jolly roger used used as a nappy for their incontinent captain.

Or sumthn... :D

As always I am several leagues behind.... :)

So the pirates have created a project and we have a team contributing to this project but nobody knows what the project is?

Confusing.

They're only trying to divert some of our ships away from the main fleet in a cunning ploy. Not so cunning, says I, as it's been spotted a nautical mile off.

Filthy pirates playing their dirty underhand war
