Pirates of the Burning Sea

Woo. More pirate games!

Lets hope it's a damn sight better than Pirates of the Caribbean: Legend of Jack Sparrow - that had potential, but sadly was so buggy that it was virtually unplayable. :(

:O I absolutly adore pirates, and have always thought that an MMO Pirate game would be absolutly stunning.... oh man I hope they have some sort of open beta so this can be tested.
 
I've just put my application in for the closed beta. Im sure there will be an open beta before release.

Spent the evening having a good read of the forums on there and it sounds promising :D
 
Once I've got my new PC up and running tommorrow (as soon as parts arrive) I'll be regged up! Can't wait to have a play of this.

OcUK fleet anyone?
 
I've been looking forward to this for almost a year now, especially now that they have included avatar combat for the final release.

Back to casper the friendly ghost on the Sega Saturn :p god that was an annoying game.


I think this could be the game to get me away from wow.

Vanguard and lotr:o just dont cut it.

Vangaurd has managed to save me from my WoW addiction, until Potbs arrives, or maybe Conan, but thats for a whole different thread.

Admiral Huddy?? did you use to play sea dogs by any chance?

were you on the forums christ i canna remember the name of them now.

Some of the guys on the sea dogs forums used to release loads of mods for it, full fighting ships of the line and such.

Long time back. Canna remember the name of them. But i am sure there was an admiral huddy on there lol

pompous rhubarb aside, I've just checked the official site and registered.

Although it could be a case of coming too late to a party on this one!
