Pirelli reveal tyre grade colours...

Heard this rumoured a couple of months back, should bring a bit of colour, although hopefully a bit nicer than the bright green/red pirellis the 80's Benetton had.

Could be tricky telling the difference between the hard/super hard though.

In theory, the Medium and Hard should never be used at the same weekend anyway, if they're keeping with the gap between compounds.

As long as they keep the current system of compound separation during the race, then the medium/hard clash should never be a problem.

Unlike a lot of the changes coming in this season, I like this one. Pretty colours!

Anyone notice how hard these were to spot (I know everyone was only on Hard at FPs)? I think Hard and Soft are gonna be a pain. Why isnt hard just black or green to help...

Seems a little difficult from the onboard camera but easy enough from standard TV pictures.

Noticed the difference quite easily (with the fairly poor picture on BBC Red Button), can imagine it would be fine in SD/HD.

I thought it was relatively obvious to distinguish between the two compounds whilst watching the stream. Should be even clearer when I watch quali/race in HD.

Still, you'll always need a sideways angle to be able to tell I suppose.

Aye, but it still seems a little odd given the vast array of colours to choose from.
