Since there's not apparently a thread for this, I thought I'd start one.

Really enjoying it, currently doing the weekly challenges. Although it's a brand new challenge, so I won't last for long, currently in the top 10 (9th) for the latest challenge. Managed 50th for the previous one.

Still haven't beaten the campaigns on Hard mode, just the last levels that get me every time.

My problem with Aim assist off is the same with Aim assist on, only worse.

I can get good enough accuracy scores, but, my beat scores fall off completely when I turn Aim assist off.

Ain't got no rhythm!! :p

I find on Hard difficulty, with aim assist (let alone without!) I have to make a choice between letting them shoot at me at least once, if not more, so I can shoot them on the beat, or I try and kill them all quickly enough, but miss out on the beat bonus a lot.

just got my first rating above "A"

Easy mode, no beat, 1st map

cant understand the scoreboard sometimes, it was there one minute, then say "be the first to post a score" ?

Think every map/difficulty/style has its own scoreboard. It's easy to accidentally select a different modifier and no longer see a score.

Fun challenge this week. Dual 6 shooters but unlimited ammo.

Also managed to complete the last level of the original campaign on hard. Now just need to do it on the second campaign.

Amazing. As you say, makes it look so simple. I wonder is She using Aim assist? Not that it matters too much, impressive either way.

It's also the way you are supposed to play the game, don't stop moving!!

Looks like the campaign, so it'll have aim assist on default. Think they have more horizontal room than me, I'm generally planted in one place and relying on squats to dodge :D. Wish I'd seen the score, think it was on hard mode though.

I too am a squat dodger!! :p I have the space to move side to side, but, nope, I squat to dodge.

When that girl plays Pistol Whip, she looks like she is dancing. When I play pistol whip, I look like I am doing some weird exercise program.

I try and keep moving to the beat, and I suspect if I was modelled onto an anime girl, it wouldn't look quite so ridiculous!

I played this for the first time today, having got it from the humble bundle.

Until I read this thread, I had no idea there was even an expectation to shoot to the beat! I didn't notice any kind of indicator of when you should be shooting. Will have to look more carefully next time!

There's obviously the beat of the song. Then there's also a vibration in the controller that you can adjust, and finally the figures go fuzzy on the beat I believe.

Accuracy is half the score, beat the other half.
