I'm pretty new to Pistonheads, but the past two enquiries I've made about cars which appear cheaper than they should be, I've received emails with the same script!

The 2nd paragraphs on both emails read exactly the same (from different people apparently):

"I have worked in UK for the last 2 years and I've purchased the car there. My company wanted me back home, so currently I'm in Spain. I've bring the car home with me.The car is now located in Spain.I decided that is better to sell it because I don `t use it anymore (the wheel is on right side and is very difficult for me to drive it here) and it `s a pitty to keep such a car and not to use it."

Anyone had these emails before? Obviously a scam...!

pistonheads is a haven for scamsters, it caters for performance expensive cars (so lots of money being thrown about) and the mod team appear to be particularly lax about what stuff they allow on there.

Best tip ive been given when buying these sorts of things is not to get involved with people wont give you their home number. I dare say there are perfectly genuine sellers out there who wont give out their home number to prospective buyers. But it makes it all too easy for a con artist to only give out a cheap £10 PAYG mobile number that theres no trace of.
