I've been working on a spreadsheet to analysis our chat room chat.
I copy the chat logs and paste it in to the spreadsheet and they look like this:
9838 10:15:31 BOB HOST Morning folks! x
The 1st part is the number of text in that room since midnight. 2nd = time, 3rd = the person talking and 4th = what they've said.
My pivot table is on a second sheet and lets you select by name. So, I am selecting BOB Host. I know that they have 120 lines of chat in the 30 mins we assess, however the pivot table is only showing 91.
I've manually gone through the text and highlighted what isn't showing and it seems that if something is repeated it doesn't show. for example:
10085 10:25:52 Bob HOST gl folks for 2 lines x
10252 10:31:07 Bob HOST gl folks for 2 lines x
10408 10:36:15 Bob HOST gl folks for 2 lines x
10518 10:41:08 Bob HOST gl folks for 2 lines x
The pivot table will just show 1 x "gl folks for 2 lines x".
Any one any advice?
