Pixel 2 camera won't open

Hi.

Just recently my camera app won't open anymore and get a fatal error message appear.

Tried Googling a solution but seems loads having the same problem but no fix?

I know this is no help, but mine recently updated the app and it crashes all the time now, sometimes it just restarts the phone. ~Have you tried doing a factory reset?

Go settings > apps > camera > clear data

yea i have tried everything there including refactoring my phone just now
