Pixel 7/pro Or s22?

Hi all,
In need of a new phone to replace my S8.

I've done a bit of research and it's down to either a pixel 7/pro or a s22, the s23 is way over budget at £800+.

Main concern for pixel 7 is, is 128mb enough space? And is the Pro worth the extra cash, as it seems to just be telescopic camera extra.

Anyone with above like to hear thoughts, budget is £700.

I'd argue that the P7 Pro isn't worth the extra cash so maybe get the regular 7 with 256GB of storage? That can be got for £580 currently on Amazon.

My wife has a s22 i a pixel pro 7.

My screen is nicer.
Colours nicer
Android experience i find better stock but hers is better looking arguably
Her battery is better.
Both get regular updates.
Mine takes better night photography, slightly better overall.

I don't think there's much in it
Price point would sway me either way but I'm very happy(mostly/ with this phone, some annoying niggles you don't get on Samsung I e not seen.

Thanks for the replies, I've seen s22 for £583 for 256mb so there's nothing between them it seems.

Really it's down to if you want a clean version of Android on the Pixel or the One UI that Samsung uses.

I’ve just come from an s21 to a pixel 7 so from a software perspective I can say google everytime . Samsung bloat ware almost turned be back to IOS .

I'd always choose the cleaner os these days. I got fed up with Samsung bloat, not to mention their apple like prices. Pixel every time for me.
