Pixel 8 or other options?

I've finally decided to upgrade my OnePlus 6, it's done me well for the last 6 years but mad battery drain and charging issues have be getting worse and worse the last few months so it's time to upgrade. Seems I can get the Pixel 8 on a reasonable deal. Is it still a decent phone now, or are there better options out there?

My main requirements are:
Android (ideally with as little bloat as possible)
Dual Sim support
A decent Led Torch
A pretty good camera
128GB storage minimum or upgradeable storage.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I'm likely going to have to get it on contract as I've just spent all my money on a new PC!

If you can wait just a couple more weeks, the Pixel 9 is being announced. Probably won't affect it too much but it could drop the Pixel 8 prices a little more. That said, it has been on crazy low prices recently.

Is the Pixel 7a worth considering over the Pixel 8? O2 are offering me the 7a for a lower price than the 8, but people are saying they're basically the same phone except the cameras (64 vs 50 megapixel).

I think the 8 is a more refined phone. Unless there's a big difference in price, I'd go for the 8.

I've gone for the 8 after getting what I think is a good deal from O2 for the phone, ~£14/month plus airtime. That's £10/month less than other stores could offer and they said if I could the phone at my quoted price then I should take O2's hand off, so I did.

Just waiting delivery now.
