Pixel burn

I have pixel burn on my LCD monitor of the top bar in my browser, ie I have a horizontal line and the faint outline of file, edit, view etc.
It's very annoying is there a way to get it back to normal...or is it actually burnt on forever?

Yes it can be removed, they don't burn like older CRT could, its more of a memory.

Some say to leave it off a few days, others say to put up a uniformed colour.

There is a few guides around on Google.

I would use the left side of this APP (right side is to unstick pixels).

Set the background timer to something large or keep it on 1 colour for days (PIA if you need use PC)
