I recently bought an Xbox 360 and since my LCD monitor (Samsun 940mw) also functions as an HD Tv, I connected the 360 up to it with component cables. I first noticed there was (what seems to be) a stuck pixel near the centre of the screen, but it was only really visible on the purple section of the Xbox 360 dashboard. When playing games it was completely unnoticeable. But now there is another stuck pixel, it just 'appeared' as I started up the game Crackdown and it's right in the centre of the screen and fully visible all the time. What's strange about these stuck pixels is that they're only visible when the monitor is set to 'Component'. When I'm using it with my PC there are no dead or stuck pixels whatsoever, I've tested with Dead Pixel Buddy and it's perfect.
Does anyone know why this is happening, it's almost as if the monitor uses 2 screens somehow. Also, can anyone advise me on ways to 'fix' the stuck pixels?
