Pixel size of the xbox background

What is the perfect size for the xbox background?

I'm currently using 1024x557 and it cuts some off the sides what is the highest that'll fit perfect. I don't know if this makes any difference but I've got a 32 inch samsung and res is set to 1080 i.

the silver dash that goes up and down while looking at stuff is what i want to incorporate in my designs

Heres my work in progress (both get trimmed by the xbox at moment) GRR

If we can get the size right maybe we'll start a xbox 360 bg thread off!

I didn't think of searching for 1080i resolution

but a quick google search turns up for anyone that may want to know

720p = resolution of 1280 x720 pixels ~ 1 megapixel

1080i -= resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels ~ 2 megapixels

so happy now thats massive can do even more detail :)

O and lastly I think she's pretty nice she did have blue hair but more of a purple guy (photoshop)!
 
If we use custom backgrounds, are we able to use orb (in the foreground) colours from different premium themes we have downloaded, or only the default Xbox theme - i.e silver

I wish we could change the green My Xbox menu aswell! they should give a colour swatcher, same to change the hue of Xbox Guide aswell :)
