Pixel - Where are wallpapers stored?

So a mate decided to take some pics on my (unlocked doh) phone and set them as a wallpaper.. amusing however I cannot delete them now.

They do not appear anywhere in my photos either on the phone or in google photos yet if you hold on the screen to get the popup where you can select a wallpaper they still appear in there
