Howdy all,

I've overclocked many times in the past (although not for a while as I've been on Mac) but am about to clock my new Q9550 system I built the other day.

The problem I have when I go to overclock is knowing what the max temp I should be looking at for my CPU, as most CPU's will go to different heats.

So is there a site or sumin that can tell me what temp I should consider stopping my overclock at? Or can I trust what Real Temp says?

Any help will be appreciated!

No idea what 'official' (if any) max temp might be.

For myself I limit to 50c/52c under full load - which I understand is good & leaves a bit of room for manouver :)

I use RealTemp - must say that Core Temp (which I've also ran) shows temps +5c . No idea which,if either, is accurate.

For full info - see above
