Hi,

Just wondering if there is any Developer community sites that have a job listing section? or a good place to advertise a job apart from the normal job sites.

I can be very awkward about clean code :p.

I'd be quite interested to see the job spec though assuming it's more than just converting designs to basic HTML - I mostly work with ASP.NET/C#/SQL/servers getting deep into the back-end of things rather than focusing just on front-end stuff.

Yeah, there is more to it than converting designs to html, heres the link to one of the websites the job spec is listed. Feel free to send your CV if its something that sounds right for you.

Seriously.. get your C.V. on monster.com. I have endless offers for jobs, annoyingly not in the local I want but still... I just had to cancel an interview for one of them which was only a few minutes from my current work place.

Ah, PHP. I do like PHP but having been exposed to .NET for the past few years I think I'd miss it if I switched again :).

You would, I had to do some PHP recently and you wouldn't believe it but there is no LINQ. :-P

No LINQ combined with no Visual Studio and ReSharper is not a nice place to be :p.

indeed! I like the idea of open source (PHP/Ruby/Python), but every time I try it I just think .NET is worth the licensing. So much quicker to develop in for me.

Apologies for thread hijacking but Pho, check your gmail :)

Same here, I'm mostly asp.net, C#, SQL stuff like that.... MVC, Linq... microsoft stuff, also mostly backend... dirty web designers :D
