Just wondering if there is any Developer community sites that have a job listing section? or a good place to advertise a job apart from the normal job sites.

I'd be quite interested to see the job spec though assuming it's more than just converting designs to basic HTML - I mostly work with ASP.NET/C#/SQL/servers getting deep into the back-end of things rather than focusing just on front-end stuff.

Seriously.. get your C.V. on monster.com. I have endless offers for jobs, annoyingly not in the local I want but still... I just had to cancel an interview for one of them which was only a few minutes from my current work place.

Ah, PHP. I do like PHP but having been exposed to .NET for the past few years I think I'd miss it if I switched again

You would, I had to do some PHP recently and you wouldn't believe it but there is no LINQ. :-P

No LINQ combined with no Visual Studio and ReSharper is not a nice place to be

indeed! I like the idea of open source (PHP/Ruby/Python), but every time I try it I just think .NET is worth the licensing. So much quicker to develop in for me.

If you like LINQ, then you should try you hand at using Reactive Extensions
Once you get the hang of it you'll wonder how you ever did things any other way!

Same here, I'm mostly asp.net, C#, SQL stuff like that.... MVC, Linq... microsoft stuff, also mostly backend... dirty web designers
