Placing order with OCUK, help with parts?

Hi all,

Been out of the loop in terms of PC's for a few years now but decided to build a new rig for gaming purposes after moving my house round so I have my own 'study'.

I already have:

Intel I7 920 CPU
Asus P6X58D Premium Motherboard + ZALMAN CNPS 9900A CPU Cooler
ATI HIS 6970
OCZ Vertex 2E 120Gb SSD

So require:

Case
Memory
Secodary hard drive for storage
PSU
Possibly a monitor (22" jobby)

Can anyone advise what I should treat myself to from OCUK?

Budget is around £250 minus monitor. Would this be enough?

Except id fork out an extre 15 quid for this case, , I've got the windowed version. cable management is brilliant. (has same sort of clips to hold drives etc) and has 2 USB3 on front. but just looks nicer IMO. no point having an awesome PC without it looking nice ^^. but cases are down to personal preference tbh. nothing wrong with above Xigmatek one.

If you want 12GB the you are sort of limited to the OcUK stuff or this stuff which is twice the price and has tall heatsinks.

why is 12gb needed for a gaming rig? 8gb is plenty

im not sure what the implication are for using dual channel in tri channel setup?

thats up to you. but both are the same so paying extra for looks and the tall heatsinks may get in the way of the cooler. depends if the cooler covers some of the RAM slots

Indeed , OCUK sticks are under warranty. and OCUK support is awesome as we all know so anything does go wrong theyll just replace. Id like to think theyd be reliable enough.
