I'm not an expert with CAD, I tend to stick to rough sketches, the occasional cardboard model and pictures in my head. I'm sure someone else will be able to suggest some decent free CAD packages.

As for what to do with it, I guess that all comes down to how adventurous you're feeling and where you want it to go. If you want something simple and stylish then I'd suggest just re-doing the front pannel, maybe replacing the door with a bit of wood with a nicer grill in it.

Alternatively, you could go for something a bit more challenging. I've seen a couple of these cases being thrown out at my office, and they always seem to look very long. I'd be tempted to stand it on its end, so its tall instead. Of course then it would have to have some long weird legs to the wires could be plugged into the motherboard, but you could certainly have fun with the airflow and fan positioning. Slot loading drives for the top would look good, but slot loading re-writers are rarer than hens teeth.

Right, I'll stop there before I ramble on too much!

Have fun, and good luck!

PK!

I've had a look at it and it seems that cause it's sooo sectioned in side i'm gonna have to get a angle grinder out and make some space in there for my rad, but apart from that (and the work i'm gonna have to do to get the backplate in) it's gonna be fairly standard..... He says !!!
