Plane travel , what can I take as hand luggage?

Not been on a plane in ages guys , can I take extra batteries for my iPad and phone in my hand luggage ?

11 hour flight says I’ll need to juice up .

Take a USB charging cable. Most flights these days have in flight entertainment on the back of the seat in front. This sometimes has a USB you can charge from. They will both need to be in flight mode though.

Also, a lot of airlines these days will expect any spare bateries of the type you get in these types of devices to be in your hand lugage anyway. Your likely to be asked when you weigh your hold bag if it contains suspect bateries.
The standard alkaline batteries are ok in the hold but the new lithium ones have to be in your hand lugage.

By extra battery do you mean a power bank? Yes, they're required to be in hand luggage rather than checked. Up to a size limit- I think its 70Ah

If your buttplug is Micro USB you are in luck if USB C you need an adaptor for the planes socket.

Check your airlines website. Batteries are up to 100 Wh though pretty sure.

What airline, BA older planes don't have USB...so pack a travel adaptor...

This - I fly long haul several times a year, 99 times out of 100 you’ll have a USB charger available.
