Planetary Annihilation - Kickstarter Project

even work yet?
Tried it a fair few months after release and it was completely crippled. Got titan, not sure I can be even bothered with it. Or at least got the email, so I assume I have it.
 
I've not really played online but been playing against the ai. You can get the odd crash,also when your firing at orbital craft the sound can be glitchy. I have had the game pause for about 10 seonds which has happaned twice now. I don't know if anyone else is getting these problems or it is just me.

The whole game is just smoother and the fps (although I have not checked) seems better. One other thing their seems to be a lag\delay when giving commands to fabbers.
 
I played my 2nd mp game today an 8 player ffa I managed to take out a commander and had a titan battle to boot. Should have taken more notice of the alarms though as I got a asteroid in the face.
 
Just crashed out of what was starting to be a good game, servers are broken tonight.

What are your uber account names? need to add each other in there and get pachat installed too.

Played 95hrs of this. At first I didnt like it and it used to crash annoyingly but I think it was more to do with the nvidia drivers. Then it got stable and just sucked me in. Played it to death. Picked up Titans for a tenner so be interesting to see what its like.
 
Is this like a more complicated Supreme commander / Total annihilation game? I'm interested but dont have 2 hours at a time to have a game. Also, do you have to donate to get it or something or can you just pay to buy it?

I wouldn't really say it was more complicated, I would say that if you liked supcom then this is a really nice and refreshing update to the series.

Most multiplayer games are over quicker than two hours and if you're doing an ai skirmish you can always save and come back.

I wouldn't bother with galactic war though.

It's past the kickstarter now, you can just but it on steam. I can buy Titans as a gift for you for £10 if you like.

Had my First win:) It was a 1v1v1v1 One bloke rage quit and that left me duking it out I killed the guy near to me and guy on the next planet landed on my planet and built a Ragnorok with heavy defenses I managed to kill that with seconds to spare. He built another two which I killed again with seconds to spare! I then landed on his planet and he was defensless! Sent about a 150 units and 8 nukes for good measure. Job done.

Game lasted about 50 minutes. Most of the time it was a mad panic attacking the guy next to me and I keep on forgetting to expand onto other planets etc. usually I get an asteroid in the face or annihilised.

Last time I tried this game was a mess and performance was horrible.

The original games we great, but this never felt right and regretted buying it.
