Planning a PC Build

im planning on building a Gaming pc, im going to have a £600 ish budget, to get the best bang for my £, i want to buy some used parts, mainly the Cpu and GPU

i use a 1080p 144Hz monitor so no need to go Mad on Super High end geer thats more for 4K gaming

this is a gaming rig and u play a couple of games that r more cpu heavy than the GPU

any recommendations for a Cpu from the older generations my cpu now is a i5 3570K and a max budget of £150 for the cpu

My knowledge of cpu ratings isnt that great

so any help and recommendations will be VERY helpful

You do not need a new CPU. Just overclock your i5, you may need a new CPU cooler for this, and pick up something like a GTX 1060 or RX 480 for sub-200 pounds.

If you have less than 16GB of RAM you should go to 16GB. A large SSD would also help if you don't currently have one.
