I'm planning on replacing my existing rig with a new one and am considering adding an additional monitor to the setup. I'm currently running a dual screen setup of a Dell 2009W and a Dell 20078WFP. For my new rig I'm looking at an Intel i5 4670K processor with 8Gb RAM plus a Radeon 270X Devil 2048MB graphics card. The additional monitor I'm considering adding is a Dell U2913WM 29" Widescreen to give me a triple screen setup with my existing monitors either side of the new one.
Question I have is whether or not the new hardware spec would support this triple monitor setup and if so, what connections should I use - 270X has single dvi for widescreen and 2 hdmi for old screens?
Main uses are photo editing using Lightroom and Photoshop with occasional bit of FPS gaming.
