Basically I'm looking to overclock the X2 4400 in my Shuttle SN25P
Don't think I will want to push the volts much (if at all) due to the fact my Shuttle already has enough to cope with in the 8800GTS.
The chip currently runs at about 40C under load and 30C or less idle.
What sort of clocks could I expect to get from this? What general approach should I use?(currently planning on just following the begginers guide, but a little advice specific to my case wouldn't go amiss)
Bearing in mind I have 2GB Geil Value DDR400 and the Shuttle specs are:
# Mainboard
Shuttle FN25, Shuttle form factor, proprietary design for SN25P
chipset: NVIDIA nForce™ 4 Ultra
Award V6.0PG BIOS, 4MBit flash memory
with hardware monitoring and ACPI power management functions
dimensions: 20.5 x 28 cm
# Power supply unit
SilentX 350 Watt mini PSU with switch, supports 100/240V, PFC
connectors: 8-pin ATX2, 6-pin ATX1, 4-pin ATX3
# Processor support
Socket 939 supports AMD Athlon™ 64, Athlon™ 64 FX Single-Core and AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core processors
supports Venice, San Diego, Toledo, Manchester
1 GHz system bus with 2000MT/s Hyper-Transport link
# Memory support
2 x 184pin slots supports DDR-400/333 memory modules at 200/166 MHz
up to a total size of 2GB
Dual Channel memory controller
Cheers in advance,
yg
