(gonna get this in the this week only price)

768Mb XFX 8800GTX XXX, PCI-E (x16), Mem 2000 MHz, GPU 630 MHz, Dual DVI/HDTV £481.61 Inc VAT
(not from ocuk) (i dont like overclocking gfx cards, to scary so i thought i would get this as its pre done to best it can get)

Seasonic M12 Modular 600W Silent ATX2.0 Power Supply
£89.99
£105.74 inc VAT

Scythe Ninja Plus Rev.B Heatpipe CPU Cooler (478/754/939/940/AM2/LGA755)
£29.99
£35.24 inc VAT

Total £773

ive not decided on a case yet and i need advice on motherboard and memory(but will take for the other parts too)

i was looking at the Asus Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi but it said it was crossfire compatible so i assumed that ruled out nvidia cards.

memory ive no idea but i will be overclocking the system so some dceent 2gb stuff

and final question, is the PSU powerful enough or should i opt for the 700w

price aint realy a problem but im not paying silly money, i can jus save up for another week if need

thx for any help.

You could still get the Asus P5W DH Deluxe as it will happily take a single Nvidia graphics card but you can get cheaper motherboards which perform as well. The only real benefit of that Asus is the WiFI and you could buy a motherboard and good wireless card for less. Have a look at the Gigabyte DS3P or Asus P5N-E 650 SLi.

Overclocking graphics cards isn't scary at all, it is one of the easiest things you can do with your PC and if you can do it with your CPU then you can easily do it with a graphics card but if you don't want to then that is about the fastest pre-overclocked version I've seen. :)

I'd change the Seasonic for a Corsair HX 620w, marginally cheaper but based on the same sort of design yet improved and with a longer warranty.

I don't know huge amounts about Ram but the Team Xtreem 2gb PC2-6400C4 or Cellshock PC2-6400C4 both seem to have good specifications at a decent price.

this what i decided to go with

Corsair HX 620W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-620HXUK) £84.99
(£99.86)

Scythe Ninja Plus Rev.B Heatpipe CPU Cooler (478/754/939/940/AM2/LGA755)

£199.99
(£234.99)

Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard £119.99
(£140.99)

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

im gonna get some case reccomendations in the case section

hmm i jus been looking at other memories, and i was thinking about the 8500 stuff.

how come everyone reccomends 6400 memory?

would the 8500+ memory not be faster?
