Morning All,

My wife got an indoor plant for Mother's Day, however has decided to die on us!

When we took it out of the window it has left a stain, is there anyway to remove this without repainting? Tried with cleaning wipes but no luck there.

It is a new house so a little gutted as the finish seems to be a factory finish rather than painted, but with it being fairly new I may just get away with a coat along the top and not need to worry about cutting in round the wall.

Picture below:

Cheers

That's a sand and repaint job. Look like moisture has lifted the paint slightly.

T-cut will just damage the surface.

I can't see any paint lifted but if there is then I'd agree it's a repaint job.
Putting a T-junction on a windowsill would certainly damage it :D

Is it a PVC board?
If it is, then should polish out. If its etched the pvc at all, may need to use a fine wet and dry before polishing. I did the same on a PVC window frame that had picked up some odd marks that wouldn't shift.
If its wood, then sand and repaint.

Thanks guys, used some autoglym paint renovator and super resin polish. This brought the marks off but left the discolourment on the paint.

Bit of bleach left on for about half an hour sorted it right out! As good as new:
