I'm considering several pairs of bluetooth headphones. The Backbeat Pro's seem to be reasonably priced. I am also considering them for use at work as a handsfree headset (we now hotdesk at work and have top share communal headsets connected to the desks which I don't consider very hygenic). I appreciate their main use is as a regular pair of noise cancelling music headphones. But if they are good enough for calls in a busy office environment then it would be a major factor in their favor. All of the reviews seem to concentrate on their music and noise cancelling ability and very rarely on the quality of the mic or the noise cancelling on the mic. I'm aware that Plantronics make some very decent office orientated bluetooth headsets. But they have a boom mic.

Does anyone have any experience of using the Backbeat Pro's in a noisy environment for audio calls and how did they perform?

Thanks.

Nevermind. All sorted now. I grabbed a used pair of Plantronics Focus UC's from eBay which were at a quarter of the new price. They lean more towards business use than music and have a foldaway mic. But they will mostly be used in the office and they surprisingly good for music too. I'm genuinely pleased with how good they are for both music and calls.
