I ordered these Friday, receieved them Saturday (Very impressive delivery... was very happy) But unfortunately, I'm not happy with the product. It's far too tight on my head, plugged into the motherboard, the mic is far too quiet on anything i've tried, Vent, Skype, TS3, with all the amplifiers turned right up. Quite frankly, I'm not impressed. I thought Plantronics were sposed to be decent headsets no matter what price...

My question is, does anyone reckon I can send this back under the 7 day guarantee thing etc? Full money back or OCuk credit to buy another headset? Basically, I need a headset. But a better one.

Yes you can send them back under the Distance Selling Regulations.

3.Under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) you have the right to cancel the contract relating to your order at any time up to the end of 7 working days after the goods are delivered. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to Overclockers UK by letter, fax or RMA WebNote giving details of the goods ordered and date received. Notification by phone is not acceptable. If you exercise your right of cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Overclockers UK at your own cost. The Distance Selling Regulations (2000) places a duty on you to take reasonable care of the goods once you have exercised your right to cancel. Returned items must be packaged properly and shipped in a plain outer box. Please try to include all internal packaging, cables, manuals, drivers and protective bags, however small. Overclockers UK will refund you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit or debit card for the goods. If after exercising your right under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) you do not return the goods as required, Overclockers UK may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods. When exercising your right to cancel under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) please return goods to Overclockers UK (Esnet Ltd), 4 Axis, Millenium way, High Carr Business Park, Newcastle-under-lyme, ST5 7UF.

You'll need to pay for the postage to return them but you're entitled to a full refund including any delivery charges you paid.

Make sure you send them back in the original box with all the accessories to avoid any problems.

Ok, sounds good. Except the packaging is a bit cut up... it's solid plastic almost :( Reckon it will effect it?

Don't mind paying for carriage (although it was free to me :P) But yeah, Rather have a headset that fitted properly :(

Technically you don't need to return the original packaging but it reduces the risk of any problems and is usually the best way to pack the goods anyway.

You're entitled to inspect the goods so if that means destroying the packaging in the process so be it. I assume it was some sort of blister pack.

All you have to do is keep the goods in reasonable condition and return them that way.

If the packaging is still serviceable then use it but you need to make sure that however you send them back they're packaged appropriately so as not to get damaged.

i have a HUGE head and my gamecom 377 fit me... i extend the headband to the maximum and they fit... :)

It fits on my head, but the ear muffs are far too tight, no matter how I adjust them. Was wearing them for about 2 hours last night and they were hurting my head and my ears. :(
Also not happy with the mic as well, so I'm going back to USB headsets as opposed to Audio Jacks.

Cheers for the info guys. Will put in an RMA note now. :)

You know the mic extends out further right? Just pull it out.

I have a pair myself, Took a little while for them to become comfortable.
