Plantronics GameCom 777 Headset

Hi just wondering if anyone has used the above Plantronics GameCom 777 headset and how it fairs, i know they have just been released.

Also how does it compare to the 377 and 367. Will it be worth getting these or just get my other planned purchase of the Razer Barracuda HP-1 Surround Sound Headset. Thanks in advance.

Not used it but i expect it to have better positioning than the barracuda (which i own). Dolby headphone is generally superior to multi-driver solutions. Plantronics mics are usually decent too so thats a plus over the shoddy barracuda mic.

Get a stereo set of headphones (HD555) and a clip-on microphone.

Will blow the likes of Plantronics/Creative/Razer away.

Both that and those crappy razer HP-1 are a waste of money.

If you want to order from OcUK get the best pair of Goldring headphones you can afford and a clip-on mic, headsets are poop.

Or aas above try some senn 555.

Yeah i know, only thing is i messed around with little clip on mins in the past and i found them to be pain in the a**, just after best headset with mic basically

Speedlink Elara, amazing bit of kit for around a fiver delivered.

I have mine positioned above my monitor and hooked into a X-Fi Platinum and it works a treat.
